Hardware Architect - eDrive (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:
- Join their innovative eDrive division and act as an interface between several departments (PM, System Department, Designers & Testers)
- Evaluate a potential project from the technical, sheduling and cost points of view
- Contribute to concept development of possible inverter architectures for traction drives, counting with client requirements
- Define a design of the interfaces of the identified hardware units, functional groups and blocks; coordinate design activities between different teams
- Perform a role of a team representative while communicating with customers, provide support in the acquisition of new projects
- Shape a technical security concept, based on security standards and guidelines
- Introduce new architectures and design solutions to the team
The profile:
- Relevant academic background in electronics/electrical engineering/mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification
- 5+ years of experience in electronics development
- Profound knowledge of inverter topologies for controlling ASM and PSM motors
- Solid knowledge of EMC-compliant design, analog and digital circuits, as well as functional safety
- Deep understanding of complex systems consisting of mechanics, electronics and software
- Perfect handling of relevant standards and guidelines, high quality awareness
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, ability to work in the team
- Excellent English skills (oral and written). German knowledge would be of advantage
