Hardware Architect - eDrive (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Join their innovative eDrive division and act as an interface between several departments (PM, System Department, Designers & Testers)
• Evaluate a potential project from the technical, sheduling and cost points of view
• Contribute to concept development of possible inverter architectures for traction drives, counting with client requirements
• Define a design of the interfaces of the identified hardware units, functional groups and blocks; coordinate design activities between different teams
• Perform a role of a team representative while communicating with customers, provide support in the acquisition of new projects
• Shape a technical security concept, based on security standards and guidelines
• Introduce new architectures and design solutions to the team

The profile:

• Relevant academic background in electronics/electrical engineering/mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification
• 5+ years of experience in electronics development
• Profound knowledge of inverter topologies for controlling ASM and PSM motors
• Solid knowledge of EMC-compliant design, analog and digital circuits, as well as functional safety
• Deep understanding of complex systems consisting of mechanics, electronics and software
• Perfect handling of relevant standards and guidelines, high quality awareness
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, ability to work in the team
• Excellent English skills (oral and written). German knowledge would be of advantage
