Your Responsibilities

• Lead the Reporting teams, and organize the work of Subject Matter Experts
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities on an IFRS basis, and ensure that the reporting timelines are met
• Lead the annual statutory audits, and support the team to achieve statutory reporting targets
• Ensure SOX compliance, as a SOX control owner run timely and efficient internal controls, maintain process documentation, and support SOX audits
• Provide professional support to the team both in standard and complex accounting questions
• Build a positive learning environment, focus on talent development and long-term career

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent education
• 5 – 10 years working experience in Finance in an international environment
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience
• IFRS and SOX know-how a must
• Fluent English (working language), any other language an advantage
• Lean management or Six Sigma training an advantage
• Positive can-do mentality & Hands-on management style
• Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with different stakeholders

Our client offers an international, multicultural environment and an open-minded culture as well as an office easily reached by public transport and furthermore 2-3 days remote work. The salary for this position is negotiable dependent on professional experience and qualification and will start from € 75.000,- gross per year (+ bonus).
