Are you ready to lead sales for a key emerging region?

Do you combine strategic B2B sales skills with fluency in Ukrainian or Russian? Want to join a German-based global market leader, preferably from the office in the Bratislava/Vienna area?

Our client is a renowned, globally successful international company with headquarters in Germany. The company is a leading supplier of high-quality products for various industries, holding a particularly strong position as a key partner to the automotive sector (including manufacturers and Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers).

To strengthen commercial activities in Ukraine, Baltics and CIS countries, we are seeking an ambitious, hands-on, and experienced sales leader for this key position.

Your Mission: Main Tasks & Responsibilities

This is a senior role where you will take ownership of the sales strategy and performance across Ukraine, the Baltics, and the CIS region. You will be responsible for driving growth and managing key partnerships.

  • Regional Ownership: Overall responsibility for achieving defined sales, margin, and strategic targets in the region, primarily through a network of local distribution partners.
  • Commercial Management: Lead the operational budget, forecasting, and planning processes for your region.
  • Performance Driven: Manage and analyze regional KPIs (sales, margin, pricing, product range) and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Partner Management: Actively support, train, and develop local distribution partners in acquiring and supporting key industrial and automotive customers.
  • Go-to-Market: Lead new product launches, technical training, and presentations for your partners and key customers.
  • Leadership: Manage and develop your direct report, fostering a culture of high performance and compliance.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market and competitor monitoring to identify new opportunities, threats, and trends.
  • Digital Transformation: Actively implement digital sales tools and transformation initiatives within your region.
  • Internal Bridge: Serve as the key interface between your regional markets and the company's central business units in Germany.

Key requirements:

  • We are looking for a proactive, entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in international technical sales
  • A university degree in Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in international B2B sales, ideally managing distribution partners or regions in Ukraine, Baltics and CIS countries
  • Strong product and technical understanding, preferably from an industrial or B2B automotive environment
  • Fluency in English (corporate language) is mandatory. Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian is mandatory, German is an advantage
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer-first focus
  • High level of intercultural competence
  • A structured, independent, and goal-oriented working style
  • Resilience, strong leadership potential, and excellent communication skills
  • A high willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region (Ukraine, Baltics, CIS)
  • Very good command of MS Office
