Lead Frontend Developer (m/w/d)

You now have the great opportunity to join this fantastic team as a Lead Frontend Developer (m/w/d).
As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the mobile and web applications. You will collaborate closely with the design and backend teams to create powerful, responsive and intuitive applications that align with our client’s vision and user needs.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using React JS and React Native
- Work with the design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences
- Partner with backend developers to integrate APIs and optimise app performance
- Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed
- Stay updated with new technology trends and best practices in frontend development
- Write integration and unit tests to ensure high-quality and well-tested features
- Lead and mentor the frontend team, setting a high standard for all developers
Your skills:
- 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development with
at least 3 years specialising in React JS and React Native - Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the object model
- Deep understanding of React and React Native principles and hands-on experience with prominent libraries such as Redux, React Native Paper, React Native Config (App flavours) and
React Native Gifted Chat - Experience with native build tools such as XCode and Android Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluency in English (working language) is essential, German language skills welcome
