The RedBull Athlete Performance Center (APC) is an athlete accelerator where we support RedBull athletes to achieve outstanding performances. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a courageous and analytical sport scientist who can support our team for 6 months, starting in October 2025.


In this position you will assist in and execute various biomechanical and physiological diagnostics in the APC – ranging from measurements with athletes, data processing,-analysis and presentation to sport scientific interpretation of data and translation into practice. In addition, you will assist in the planning and execution of diagnostical assessments with RedBull soccer and ice-hockey players. Further you will assist in the data processing and analysis of data sets related to ongoing R&D projects at the APC.

  • inertial sensors
  • processing, analysis and compression of data
  • graphical representation of data
  • data organization
  • maintenance of existing codes
  • sport scientific interpretation of data
  • translation of the results in therapy and training
  • literature research
  • requirements-, time- and quality management
  • Assistance in the data analytic processes in ongoing R&D /Science projects
  • Assistance in administration of in-field tests.

that matter most for this role:

  • practical experience in physiological and biomechanical diagnostics (endurance tests, lactate sampling, force plates, inertial sensors)
  • experience in data processing and analysis
  • computer programming experience (Python, MATLAB and/or R preferred)
  • practical experience with interpretation of physiological and biomechanical parameters to ensure data transfer into training and therapy
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in sports science, sports physiology or a related field with biomechanical focus, preferred Doctoral degree
  • fluent in German and English

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position.
